A completely new service &#8211; the<br \/>\nDataSourceDetector allows  applications to provide<br \/>\nsuggestions to users about the data sources on their<br \/>\ndesktops. A host of bugfixes and minor improvements rounds<br \/>\nthe image of the leanest and meanest version of Aperture<br \/>\never made. Enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s new?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a completely new Aperture service &#8211; the  <br \/>\nDataSourceDetectors &#8211; can be used  to provide advice to  <br \/>\nthe user about the data sources on the desktop<\/li>\n<li>new subcrawlers for .zip, .gzip, tar and bzip2 compressed  <br \/>\nfiles<\/li>\n<li>unification of the email handling &#8211; now the ImapCrawler,  <br \/>\nMboxCrawler and the MimeSubCrawler use the same code in  <br \/>\nthe DataObjectFactory to convert emails to RDF.
