At the moment, many people use Aperture and we try to compile a list of users on this wiki page:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/aperture.wiki.sourceforge.net\/ProjectsUsingAperture\">http:\/\/aperture.wiki.sourceforge.net\/ProjectsUsingAperture<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>If you are using Aperture, please give a link there.<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>We <b>want to make a release<\/b> in the next months, probably sooner than later, if you have free time and want to fix bugs, be our guest to quicken this \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>The next urgent things I would like to do are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fix <a href=\"http:\/\/sourceforge.net\/tracker\/?atid=779500&amp;group_id=150969&amp;func=browse\">bugs in aperture<\/a> &#8211; there is one for everyone<\/li>\n<li>A better <a href=\"http:\/\/sourceforge.net\/tracker\/index.php?func=detail&amp;aid=1362628&amp;group_id=150969&amp;atid=779503\">Lucene handler<\/a>, allowing Lucene developers to use Aperture as framework<\/li>\n<li>Make e-mails openable in <b>Thunderbird<\/b> (in Outlook it works, but Thunderbird&#8217;s programming model is an open secret only readable in C code). I already tried to <a href=\"http:\/\/gnowsis.opendfki.de\/wiki\/MozillaDeveloping#AccessingThunderbirdfromJava\">understand Thunderbird&#8217;s API<\/a>, any new clues welcome.<\/li>\n<li>fix the IMAP uris, they were ok in gnowsis but are broken in Aperture, thats an old one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Danny Ayers <a href=\"http:\/\/dannyayers.com\/2007\/09\/10\/firefox-browsing-history\">blogged about using a mork<\/a> parser to extract the browsing history of Firefox. <\/p>\n<p>I <a href=\"http:\/\/dannyayers.com\/2007\/09\/11\/re-firefox-browsing-history\">replied <\/a>that we may want to have this also in Aperture.<\/p>\n<p>The demork code is here: <a href=\"http:\/\/gnowsis.opendfki.de\/browser\/trunk\/demork\">http:\/\/gnowsis.opendfki.de\/browser\/trunk\/demork<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Its also packed as JAR with aperture, and used in the <a href=\"http:\/\/aperture.svn.sourceforge.net\/viewvc\/aperture\/trunk\/aperture\/src\/java\/org\/semanticdesktop\/aperture\/addressbook\/thunderbird\/ThunderbirdCrawler.java?view=markup\">ThunderbirdCrawler<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone wants to take this code and improve it to crawl the browsing history?
