Today and tomorrow I am attending Kirby Konf 2026. After many smaller meetups, this is the first gathering of the Kirby CMS community in a conference format. I love Kirby for its minimalistic / pragmatic approach and effective use of PHP capabilities. I am working with it when building the portatour Route Planner homepage and the FridaysForFuture Austria climate activism homepage.
From our portatour team, my colleagues Michi and Flo also attend. We are anticipating a meeting of like-minded folks. Their code we have been using for years, now we are looking forward to meet the people for the first time face to face.
